Position Responsibilities:

Management reporting for the Global Solutions and Clean Energy Business Units. This includes all aspects of the P&L: specifically Revenue trends & analysis, COGS productivity, SG&A detailed review & management of contract funnel including bookings and contract wins. This position will also be a key contributor to the role out of OneStream financial management system with a focus on improving Business Unit reporting. This position will also partner with the Global Controller, to develop and implement robust procedures that create accurate, timely, and relevant financial statements. They will also help manage communications with and between the Dover segment office, operating companies, and executive management. They will be accountable for coordinating the submission of month-end financials and supplemental information from all global operations with a strong focus on continuous improvement. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Drive monthly reporting for Global Solutions & Clean Energy Business Units.
  • Development of Annual & Monthly management reporting packages including the analysis of OPEX & CAPEX plans.
  • Drive automation and visibility of business unit financials through the development and implementation of OneStream financial management system
  • Establish financial processes, including a strong internal control environment to ensure the records of the company are following generally accepted accounting principles, Dover accounting manual, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Meet Dover Corporation reporting requirements including monthly, quarterly & Annual reporting, including consolidation and review of financial information from all operating units.
  • Coordinate the submission of monthly statements from the Operating Companies; perform preliminary review for errors, omissions, and ensure properly supported financial statements in compliance with all Dover and SOX standards; support Operating Company management with analysis as needed; maintain appropriate records.
  • Develop and ensure strong relationships with global business units, regions, and Dover Corporate.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum BS in Accounting, Finance, or other related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in professional accounting with proven technical expertise and leadership in driving operational finance standards, processes and procedures.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Oracle a plus.
  • Working knowledge of OneStream financial analytic application suite a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
  • CPA certification a plus.
