Wayne/DFS, is seeking a leader for our NA dispenser product portfolio.  This would involve managing product line performance, executing the product strategy and determining end-of-life for legacy platforms.  The position will be based in our Austin, TX facility. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ongoing product line management for the Ovation and Ovation High Speed models including executing EOL strategy for legacy products, pricing responsibility and introduction of new features/updates to the product mix.
  • Manage product life cycle and own/develop the strategic plan and provide inputs to the product road map defining the development cycle and prioritization
  • Own/deliver key financial product line parameters including margins, standard costs and warranty, sales forecast, etc.
  • Drive Voice of Customer (VOC) market research; correlate VOC output to define product specifications and relevant market problems
  • Identify product opportunities for future consideration and prioritize them for development, partnership and/or acquisition
  • Determine and prioritize market opportunities based upon customer needs, competitive positioning and market problems
  • Monitor industry/technology trends, regulatory drivers and competitive threats
  • Interacts with all levels of the organization, including executive level presentations and interface with regional marketing teams on developing/executing product launch plans
  • Support marketing team related to the go-to-market plan for all products including promotion, collateral material, advertising and trade show activities

 

 

Candidate Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, (Engineering Degree w/ marketing experience or marketing degree w/ technical sales/product management experience preferred). Experience may be accepted in leiu of education. 
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in product management and/or related products
  • Experience in the retail petroleum industry is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and comfortable speaking before groups
  • Ability to work in fast-paced team environment
  • Willingness to travel 
  • Experience in the retail petroleum industry is a plus
