Position Overview:

The Customer Sales Support Assistant will contribute to the DFS process to enable the success of our commercial partners and distributors through world class leading customer support. In this role, the Support Specialist will build and maintain strong business relationships with our large customer base, manage orders received into the factory ensuring our internal and external customers’ expectations are met efficiently and to the highest standards throughout this process to final delivery.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive customer orders and process any special requirements;
  • Liaise with planning and production to achieve the best possible delivery dates for our customers;
  • Discuss special requirements internally and liaise with Customer;
  • Process order changes;
  • Check progress of orders in production and advise customer of any ship date changes; 
  • Support customers or internal stakeholders with any enquiries;
  • Contribute to and maintain the value of 5S, standard work, problem solving, continuous improvement and process adherence.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.

 

Skills, Experience & Education:

  • Previous Sales OR Customer Support experience in a similar (production/ Manufacturing) environment;
  • Fluent in English & other European language in both writing and speech (essential);
  • IT skills, including Microsoft Office (essential); Desirable if held previous experience using Microsoft Navision ( Business Central) or any pther ERP related system
  • Highly motivated;
  • Flexible approach to work times and tasks;
  • Highly organised, with the ability to work under pressure ensuring tight deadlines are met;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Able to communicate across all departments and at all levels;
  • Team player, both internal and external.;
  • Capable of working on own initiative and proactively as part of a team.
