Essential Responsibilities:
• Lead Intercompany and Lease accounting team to ensure high-quality reports are delivered timely.
• Facilitate progress reviews (through one-on-one feedback and coaching sessions).
• Facilitate team meetings using appropriate brainstorming, problem solving and decision making.
• Monitors the tickets ensuring that all are within the agreed Service Level Agreement.
• Receive /Handle escalations from employee, vendor and customer and the Business groups/geo which the team supported.
• Drive compliance of team metrics through people management using appropriate monitoring tools, identify areas for improvement, and facilitate action planning to address non-compliance.
• Ensure full compliance to the following: External Audits, Internal Audits
• Address other ad hoc requests and participate in special projects


Lease Accounting:
• Read, analyze, and extract required data fields from complex leases for accurate lease accounting and reporting under new Lease Accounting Standards ASC 842 and IFRS 16.
• Provide existing lease information and guidance globally to all OpCos / Entities on Lease Accounting Policy and coordinate escalated resolution to Operating Company management and Dover Corporate Accounting.
• Manage Lease Accounting team and act as point of contact to Corporate Accounting and OpCos / Entities on existing leases.
• Research accounting issues for existing leases for compliance with GAAP and IFRS with approval from Corporate Accounting.
• Perform complex lease account reconciliations and review all monthly lease account reconciliations before Operating Company / Entity approval.
• Manage the maintenance of lease related process documentation and accounting policies.
• Manage the reporting and maintenance of lease data management and Lease Accelerator software.


Intercompany:
• Oversee of all Intercompany transactions and processes, including compliance with Global Intercompany Policy, as well as completeness and accuracy of intercompany accounts
• Lead the consolidation process and partnering with other Operating Companies to continue to enhance the month end closing activities
• Drive direction for the standardization and implementation of intercompany global policy across segments or operating companies
• Manage system change requests process and work with Business Transformation resource to facilitate resolutions on close and reporting issues
• Balance workload to maximize team performance and productivity
• Ensure aged intercompany receivables and payables are investigated and cleared in a timely manner

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Management Accounting; preferably CPA or MBA.
• Minimum 8+ years Professional Accounting, Finance, and/or any related experience
• Accounting knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Working knowledge of lease contracts and associated accounting implications.
• Experience with a major ERP system (i.e., SAP, Oracle, etc.) managing data in large ERP systems
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (Ex: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Charts and Graphs etc.).
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
• Lean Six Sigma training a plus. This position will implement any operational changes and delivering measurable improvements in Intercompany.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
• Demonstrated proficiency managing data in Microsoft Office (SharePoint)

• Experience reading and interpreting contracts.
• Familiarity with new Lease accounting guidance under ASC 842 and IFRS 16
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-directed, positive and ethical role model able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times with suppliers, internal customers, and coworkers; fully observe Dover’s Code of Ethical Conduct, Employee Handbook “Personal Conduct of Employees” policies and ISO Quality System Standards.
