What we’re looking for:

We are looking for an ambitious professional eager to grow with an industry leader.  The Lean Technician will be responsible for supporting all area of manufacturing to improve safety, quality, and productivity.  They will assist the manufacturing engineering team to achieve Key Performance Indicators’ and company goals.  Assist with process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing methods, six sigma, and other problem solving tools.

The Operations Excellence Manufacturing Lean Technician will assist in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment issues, assist in design of meaningful and accurate performance measurement systems to increase productivity, develop process documentation, improve process flow and maintain the plant layout.

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:  

• Assist with evaluating and developing innovative solutions to engineering and manufacturing production problems.
• Assist with the plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
• Assist with manufacturing lean exercises – KAIZEN events.
• Maintain Standard Work and work instruction to communicate manufacturing requirements to production personnel.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement change to current manufacturing processes by analyzing production, labor standards, and material cost, reviewing production schedules, and estimating future requirement.
• Additional duties as required.

What are the basic qualifications?  

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 
• 5+ years relevant experience in Lean Manufacturing

What are the preferred qualifications?

• Bachelor’s Degree
