Logistics Specialist

Part of Dover Corporation’s Engineered Systems segment, Vehicle Service Group (VSG) is a strong, diverse and dynamic global leader in the vehicle service industry. VSG comprises 13 major vehicle lifting, wheel service, diagnostic and collision repair brands: Rotary Lift®, Chief®, Forward®, Direct-Lift®, Ravaglioli, Hanmecson®, Revolution®, Elektron, Blitz, Nogra, Butler, Space and Sirio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sales orders receipt and update in ERP with data accuracy in a timely manner.

• Cooperate with shipping agents and shipping companies related to booking and arranging international shipments.

• Shipping documents and documents for customs clearance preparation and tracking.

• Participation in logistics improvement projects and streamline the existing way of working to ensure end to end agreed service level achieved with the best optimized cost.

• Complete other tasks assigned by the leader.

CRITICAL SHORT-TERM OBJECTIVES or CRITICAL ASPECTS OF ROLE NEXT 2-3 YEARS

• Drive import & export activities to achieve target.

• Optimize import & export procedures with efficiency.

• Create and follow up shipping plan, involve in main production plan.

• Drive and improve sales orders and production plan fulfilment.

• Coordinate with manufacturing and purchasing for shipping efficiency.

OVERALL QUALIFICATIONS – Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree is preferred, and logistics /SCM/ international trading or equivalent is highly desirable.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics/SCM management, and manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Familiar with the international trading policy/laws/regulations.

• Experienced user of ERP system.

• Logic & critical thinking and passionate on the job.

• Workable spoken and written English.
