Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our Northwest Europe Zone team.  The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts, helping to drive business growth and increase brand awareness.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing and wants to develop their skill base and contribute to the success of our organisation.

The candidate will be working actively supporting the Marketing Manager. Based in the Manchester office.

What you will do:

• Be responsible for the collation, distribute, and following up of leads, as well as reporting weekly
• Assist in the creation and execution of multiple campaign activity for the different product sectors as well as contributing ideas
• Help to manage social media pages by creating content, posting updates, and responding to comments and messages
• Assist conducting research to evaluate and report on customers and competitors to identify trends and opportunities
• Execute marketing strategy
• Submitting ideas for marketing programmes designed to enhance and grow the company’s brand
• Assist in the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and presentations
• Support the planning and execution of events, trade shows, and other promotional
• Assist in monitoring the condition of the local database and reporting out
• Communicating with internal and external customers including agencies
• Assisting with specific projects and support as required
• Work towards KPI’s and achieve campaign targets
• Run reports and perform analysis to drive sales actions

What you need to have:

• Experience working with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) & Salesforce.com (or similar CRM).  Nice to have but not essential experience with Pardot and Adobe Photoshop.
• High level of computer literacy
• Ability to manage your time and workload effectively as this is a hybrid role.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills
• Problem-solving and creative-thinking skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Creative skills, including writing, design, and video editing
• Good teamworking skills
• Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• 1-3 years’ experience in marketing or equivalent education
• Postgraduate degree or equivalent Marketing qualification or a related field a plus
• Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
