SCOPE:

 

RegO Mexico, we are opening the Production Supervisor position. Considering the current necessities for this subsidiary this contributor will covering controls and duties which are going to serve as drivers of standardization and continuous improvement within REGO’s distribution system.

 

The Production Supervisor is a key contributor with a direct reporting relationship to the Operation Manager.  The role requires daily interaction with other cross-business teams within Rego Mexico to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives.  These groups include:  Warehouse, Sales, Finance, and Human Resources.  Maintaining assembly and production standards, planed budget, productivity and quality KPI´s, safety, and identifying and new continuous improvement opportunities, are critical performance criteria for this position.

 

In addition to the above, other duties includes ensuring the enforcement of company policies and procedures, time of production tracking, maintain workflow on a daily basis by setting up process variables and observing control points, complete production plans by scheduling personnel, establish and enforce organizational standards for safety and production processes, and call for repairs if the operation of equipment becomes faulty or unreliable.

  • Through process confirmation, verify assembly and production is running safely, smoothly, & producing quality parts
  • Meet inventory, cost, scrap, supply and tooling expense targets.
  • Support Continuous Improvement and coach problem resolution
  • Entry, supervision, and follow-up of production orders into the System
  • Generate production schedule and ensure compliance
  • Verification of the assembly and production process that is carried out safely and on time
  • Ensure the correct operation of the machinery in the plant
  • Development operational lines documentation
  • Cell leader & assembler positions skills development and daily job supervision
  • Industrial safety
  • Follow up induction onboarding process & assembly trainings
  • Self-safety maintenance
  • Core tools supervision

 

 

 

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Two-three years relevant work experience in supervising people and production
  • Demonstrated leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills required.
  • Forklift handling certification.
  • Demonstrated experience handling continues improvement.
  • Must possess intermediate-level Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict management skills required
  • Ability to work independently, along with strong time management skills, required.
  • Oral and written communication skills required.
  • Flexibility to effectively adapt to rapidly changing conditions and fast-paced environment required.
