An assembly Operator correctly assemble our products from separate components. The main tasks consist of consulting manuals or technical drawings, collecting and assembling parts and testing the end product. Depending on the products being assembled, our assembly employees perform their work in a production line or workshop.
Responsibilities
Assembly workers are responsible for correctly assembling products from their individual parts within the stipulated time. They collect the right parts and assemble them in the correct order based on technical drawings or plans. Materials used, time required, and any deviations are correctly recorded in the various systems.
Daily tasks
• Following up the production planning
• Collect the correct parts per order and check their quality.
• Use the correct tools, keep them in good condition and store them correctly
• Correctly (dis)assemble the products.
• Configure the products (eg Bios if necessary) and upload the correct software
• Checking, testing and correcting the assembled products.
• Record production results, hours spent and all deviations
Competences
• Team player, in a team everyone's work influences that of others.
• Attention to detail, assembly work requires precise work, sometimes with very small parts. An error in the assembly can also have important consequences. A good eye for detail and working with precision are therefore important.
• Organizational skills and structured working. Keeping the work area organized so that the right tools are always readily available. (5S)
• Stamina. The work can be repetitive and physically strenuous, good stamina is essential.
• A basic knowledge of and interest in PC’s and operating systems is necessary, a knowledge of electronics is desirable.
• Flexible attitude, open to switching between activities and learning new skills
