Technical skilled team lead – Pressure Test

Advansor is looking for a technical skilled team lead for our Pressure Test team to become a part of an international team driven by finding the best customer solutions.

Your role

In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical expertise and operational leadership. You will step into a dynamic environment where your technical insight ensures the highest standards of safety and quality through our pressure test workflows.

Pressure testing evaluates product strength and leak rates, which is vital for our CE approval and overall quality assurance to ensure we always deliver world-class CO2 refrigeration and climate solutions. It is a highly technical process involving systems operating at 130 bar air pressure, standardized procedures, and advanced troubleshooting carried out by skilled technicians. As our new Test Engineer, you will have a direct impact on these operations, lead a dedicated team, and drive continuous improvements.

Main tasks
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, guide, and support the team to ensure that all products pass the pressure test safely and on time.
  • Collect key learnings and data from the pressure tests and actively convert them into concrete actions in our production department.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce rework, optimize workflows, and minimize lead times in both Production and Pressure Test.
  • Ensure that all strict safety and quality procedures are followed consistently, and that all test results are meticulously documented.
  • Allocate additional time to support our Production Engineers in carrying out ongoing optimization projects in the production department
  • Ensure pressure test capacity in regard to both employees and equipment that matches the production plan

The team currently consists of six skilled employees, including one Team Coordinator.

Your background

You are technically skilled and possess a solid combination of technical understanding and natural leadership capabilities. You thrive on hands-on, systematic troubleshooting, respect strict safety procedures, and understand the importance of documenting test results.

To succeed in this role, we look for the following profile:

  • Professional background: You are a Marine Engineer or a Diploma Engineer, ideally with a background as a skilled craftsman.
  • Leadership foundation: You have some experience with team leadership, project management, or operational coordination from a production, technical, or maritime environment. What matters most is that you know how to lead by example, drive engagement, and ensure well-being.
  • Work style: You are empathetic, have a positive mindset, and handle several tasks at once with a self-driven proactive approach and a sense of urgency, without losing focus on safety and quality.
  • Hands-on execution: Your deep operational insight enables you to understand technical challenges in detail, and you are ready to work side-by-side with your team if abnormal circumstances require it to meet critical deadlines.
  • Languages: As part of our international team, you communicate effortlessly in English, both verbally and in writing.

We offer

As part of Team Advansor, you will get to work with more than 400 competent colleagues of more than 40 different nationalities and join us in our mission: to design and produce the world’s best sustainable climate solutions. You will become part of a highly ambitious company that values a good working environment, diversity, and teamwork.

We offer flexible working hours, access to our gym, and probably the best canteen you have ever tried.

Salary is decided based on your qualifications.

Please contact Ulrik Jensen, Production Lead at ulj@advansor.com or +45 3525 6036 if you have any questions about the position or Advansor as a workplace.

Sustainable CO2 climate solutions

As a market-leading manufacturer, we have designed and produced more than 20.000 CO2 systems for sustainable commercial and industrial cooling and heating around the world since 2006.

Many people associate CO2 with global warming. We’re cool with that. Literally. Because CO2 is the most climate-friendly refrigerant: It is non-toxic, non-flammable and does not affect the ozone layer or harm our drinking water. That is why we are ’cool with CO2’.
