Strategic Purchaser for our Purchasing team.

Advansor is looking for a Strategic Purchaser to become part of an international team driven by finding the best customer solutions.

Are you an experienced strategic purchaser and are you passionate about developing purchasing strategies and executing on them?

Are you motivated by balancing high-level strategic tasks with hands-on, day-to-day operations? Then maybe this is the job for you.  

Main tasks

In this dynamic position, you will work closely with planning, production and engineering, to secure long-term operational deliverance.

Main tasks are;

• ensuring that suppliers, agreements and purchasing processes all support the needs of our business
• ensuring a broad interface to all internal functions from purchasing, production, engineering to quality and sales
• responsibility for supplier agreements together with the Purchasing Director

Your success largely depends on your ability to ensure systematics and methodology for an optimal strategic procurement. And not least it depends on your ability to analyze and translate data on supplier performance into concrete initiatives. This means systematic monitoring and development of the supplier platform which involves:

• Translate data, analyze, and develop sourcing strategies for the categories.
• Negotiate prices and conclude agreements with suppliers.
• Analysis and selection of suppliers
• Benchmarking of supplier portfolio based on defined supplier performance KPI’s.
• Continuous optimization of and follow-up on supplier performance.
• Optimization and systematization of strategic purchase processes, tools, and methods.
• Supplier audits, quality assurance and delivery reliability.

Your background

Most likely, you hold a degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business etc. You have 5+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement, ideally within manufacturing company.

It goes without saying that you are a strong negotiator and can drive cost reduction, while maintaining good supplier relations. You have strong analytical skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to balance hands-on operational tasks and strategic thinking. You interact naturally at all levels and focus on delivering results through good working partnerships internally and externally.

Technical understanding and experience with purchase of electrical components and products is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Our corporate language is English, and therefore it is a requirement that you can communicate in English both orally and in writing.

Salary is decided based on your qualifications.
