Technical Support Manager Aftersales
Advansor is looking for a Technical Support Manager for Aftersales to become a part of an international team driven by delivering the best customer support.
Your role
As Technical Support Manager you play a key role securing high quality technical support and ensuring outstanding service and support to our customers.
You will be responsible for leading a team of 6 Aftersales Engineers in our HQ in Aarhus and coordinating with our Aftersales Engineers outside Denmark. You will be responsible for ensuring that Advansor’s technical support, claim handling and commissioning coordination are delivered at the highest standard, driving both team motivation and performance. Your role will blend leadership and hands-on support to help keep our Aftersales department running smoothly and ensure customer satisfaction.
You will be part of an international and dedicated Aftersales team responsible for technical Support, technical training and commisioning. You will report directly to the Aftersales Manager
Main tasks:
- Leading the Technical Support Team: Manage and guide your team, keeping motivation and performance high while delivering consistent, efficient support.
- Ensuring High Availability: Maintain high availability and quick response times for technical support inquiries, including troubleshooting, claim handling, and technical issue resolutions.
- Coordinating Commissioning: Oversee commissioning coordination with the team and our customers world-wide.
- Optimizing Processes: Continuously improve daily operations, optimizing the technical support and claim handling processes for greater efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Customer support, Sales Engineering, R&D and Sales on Aftersales projects and help provide solutions to customer challenges.
- Customer Communication: Lead and support clarifications with customers on technical issues, ensuring effective troubleshooting and timely solutions.
Your background
- Leadership Experience: + 3 years of experience in guiding, motivating and coordinating teams and initiatives, ideally from a similar technical or customer support management role. Understand situational leadership and possess strong emotional intelligence.
- Technical Expertise: A degree in refrigeration or similar, with a strong understanding of refrigeration technology.
- Knowledge of CO₂ Systems: Experience with CO₂ as a refrigerant is an advantage, but we offer comprehensive training for you to master this technology.
- Organizational Skills: A proactive, structured approach with strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English (our corporate language). Danish is not required, and additional language skills are a plus.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Ability to prioritize and handle several requests in parallel, with a sense of urgency to meet customer needs.
