Sales Development Representative

The Role

 

The Sales Development Representative role will be working in the Supply and Service team actively supporting the growth of our Benelux customers. Based in the Amsterdam office you will work closely with Account Managers across Netherlands and Belgium. Fluent Dutch is a must with French an advantage. This is a commercial inside sales role requiring account management & sales qualification skills.

 

What you will do:

 

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory, utilising various prospecting methods such as telephone calls, email campaigns and networking.
  • Work closely with the End User Sales team in a defined geographic area to progress lead opportunities.
  • Qualify sales leads generated from marketing campaigns, establishing genuine relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Lead discovery conversations with prospects on behalf of our Account Managers to discover challenges and growth opportunities in both new and existing accounts.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Set appointments and visit customers when appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities for new business within assigned accounts and recover lost business/customers.
  • Proactive coordination with sales/technical departments.
  • Work towards KPI’s and achieve quarterly sales quotas.
  • Run reports and perform analysis to drive sales actions.

 

 

What you need to have:

 

  • Proven inside sales experience.
  • Good questioning and qualifying skills over the phone/video.
  • Knowledge of lead qualification methods i.e. BANT, MEDDIC etc.
  • Experience working with Microsoft tools (Excel and PowerPoint) & Salesforce.com (or similar CRM).
  • Ability to manage your time and workload effectively.
  • SAP (SD Module), a plus.
  • Results driven, customer oriented and used to work under pressure.
