Bij Demaco maak je als Strategisch Inkoper écht impact. Je zit aan tafel bij beslissingen die onze supply chain en internationale samenwerking bepalen. Samen met je collega’s ben je verantwoordelijk voor de totale inkoop, waarbij je zorgt voor een optimale verhouding tussen prijs en kwaliteit op basis van de “total cost of ownership”. Dit doe je door inkoopcondities en prijzen zorgvuldig af te wegen en continu de nieuwste ontwikkelingen op de leveranciersmarkt te volgen en te beoordelen.

Je werkt nauw samen met de Manager Engineering en Manager Operations Support om hen te adviseren over strategische keuzes binnen het inkoopproces en het opstellen van budgetten. Daarnaast geef je advies over externe investeringen, kostenreductie, besparingsmogelijkheden en productprijzen in het kader van (voor)calculaties. Je ondersteunt ook de Demaco directie bij relevante inkoopbeslissingen en begeleidt de operationele inkopers en het magazijn bij het oplossen van problemen met betrekking tot levertijden.

Tegelijkertijd onderhoud je een uitgebreid (internationaal) netwerk, doe je locatieonderzoek bij potentiële leveranciers en behandel je alle tactische en strategische inkoopzaken. Dit houdt in dat je onderhandelt over alle aspecten van projectmatige opdrachten en raamovereenkomsten, en bijdraagt aan het inkoopbeleid. Het meedenken en beoordelen van contracten op risico’s, prijs, levering, politieke stabiliteit en valuta is hierin van groot belang. Daarnaast speel je een sleutelrol in de transitie naar meer interne inkoop binnen de OPW-groep, waarbij je de omslag naar inkoop binnen onze zusterbedrijven leidt, zonder de externe leveranciers uit het oog te verliezen. Kortom, jij bent hét aanspreekpunt voor alle betrokken partijen binnen Demaco.
