Summary:

Under the direction of the Manufacturing Production Planning & Control Manager, the Junior Planner will work with various functions throughout the business to coordinate work centers and materials required for production. This will include partnering with engineering, purchasing, sales and manufacturing to ensure accurate routing of work orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and executes routers and releases to customer service with necessary prints
  • Prints engineering drawings and confirms that routing is accurate in Syteline system
  • Reconciles missing information or changes to routing to include conferring with operations manager, sales department or other impacted functions
  • Adjusts schedules and routings as required to meet delivery schedules
  • Confers with sales for updates on order delays
  • Coordinates with supply chain on material issues
  • Other related duties as assigned

Minimum required qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have the mechanical aptitude to learn the technical nature of company products
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Must have a sense of urgency
  • Must be flexible to adjust to continually changing demands and adjust production plan to meet the demands

The ideal candidate possesses the following experience, skills, and abilities:

  • Syteline experience
  • Experience in manufacturing environment
  • APICS certification, preferred

Our Antigo facility is under ITAR/UNNPI regulations, must be a US Citizen
