Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineering Interns will work closely with the Manufacturing Engineering and Continuous Improvement Departments to assist in time studies and lean manufacturing. The internship is for the duration of the college summer break, 30+ hours per week. 

Essential Duties

  • Verify the set-up calculation sheet is accurate on what is achieved
  • Safety projects
  • Determine if the stimulated run time is accurate, revise parameters accordingly
  • Working with Operators and Manufacturing Engineers
  • Participate in Kaizen events to improve manufacturing throughout

Minimum Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a major in Engineering. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and work collaboratively within teams
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must have strong attention to detail
