Summary:

 

The role of the Master Scheduler is to manage and oversee all activities to fulfill First run and Repeat orders for Waukesha Bearings customers from inception to delivery. This role will be acting as a liaison between all internal departments and company management to best support customers and employees’ needs. The ideal candidate will be a working lead overseeing timely execution of orders and analyzing efficiency of teams’ and facilities’ load balancing. This role will be responsible to identify, define and maintain reports on order processing and continuous improvement of order process management for DPC.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Own the on-time delivery of orders and order processing for Waukesha Bearing 
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, engineering and operation teams to drive customer satisfaction and maintain process effectiveness from start to finish
  • Effectively communicate order delivery expectations in a timely and clear fashion
  • Provide intercommunication and coordination with facilities and cross-functionally as needed
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve issues, which might affect customer satisfaction and operational targets
  • Monitor, minimize and mitigate all hand-offs and queue times during order processing to ensure there is no risk to steps being missed or lost
  • Report progress and status of all open orders on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Proactively manage changes in order scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Facilitates root cause and countermeasure of order delays and change orders
  • Identify, define and manage KPIs for orders fulfillment with best interest of our customers in mind
  • Own, manage and improve regular SEOPP meetings
  • Motivate team members, and influence them to take accountability for their assigned work
  • Provide recommendations and implement improvements in order processing
  • Develop strong relationships with sales personnel. Create a strong foundation based on trust through strong communication, early, frequent and accurate updates
  • Clarify discrepancies or unclear information between purchase orders, RFQs, drawings, technical information and quality levels
  • Any other job functions as assigned to support the organization

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of experience working in sealing or rotating equipment industry is preferred
  • 7-10 years of project management experience, including all aspects of process development and execution
  • Lean experience in E2E order processing

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Strong project management skills
  • Great leadership and facilitation skills
  • Highly motivated individual with attention to detail
  • Effective and clear communication is a critical requirement for this position
  • Ability to react to adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • Experience and comfort managing multiple orders in parallel
  • International project experience is preferred
  • Strong familiarity with software programs such as Syteline, MS office and general IT tools
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team

Working Conditions:

 

This is a hybrid position; travel up to 25% of time.
