Your Role

Responsibilities:
- Leads CPC’s forecasting and reporting requirements for the annual operating plan (AOP), strategic plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlooks
- Strategize, develop, and execute effective presentations to communicate business results and forecast to senior management, including the VP of CPC, Sr. Director of Finance, and corporate leaders within Dover; expert at “telling the story” of the businesses
- Lead the S&OP process for Finance by partnering with various departments including manufacturing, planning, and sales to ensure customer and business needs are met
- Strong partner with other departments to drive margin/process/working capital improvement initiatives across the business
- Able to develop relationships with both financial and non-financial colleagues, at local and corporate levels
- Support the understanding of the business unit P&L’s
- Capable of explaining complex financial concepts to non-financial business partners
- Evaluate key capital investments for financial justification and make investment recommendations to leadership
- Serve as a key strategic advisor to the Sr. Director of Finance
- Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs
Management Responsibilities:
- Supervises 3 employees in a growing Finance department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Coaches team members for career growth and performance optimization.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting
- 10+ years of experience in finance roles with focus on quantitative analysis, decision making, and FP&A
- At least 5 years of manufacturing experience
- A creative thinker that thrives in ambiguity and can not only identify problems, but also influence the business and lead with solutions
- Positive, driven, and energetic; able to roll-up his/her sleeves and work both in the details and contribute to high-level strategic development
- Advanced data analysis and skilled in Microsoft Excel, experience bridging financial results to tell the financial story
- Advanced level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Must be familiar with financial models, metrics, and tools used to determine projected financial benefits and profitability such as: Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Return on Investment (ROI), Free Cash Flow (FCF) and working capital analysis
Preferred Skills:
- MBA and/or CPA
- Oracle experience
- Onestream, HFM, Essbase, or similar consolidation tool

- This range is the pay scale for this role in Minnesota. Individual compensation is based on skills, experience, and qualifications related to this position.
