Your role as an Industrial Facilities Technician will allow you to serve staff and leaders and help provide creative solutions to drive CPC's short- and long-term goals. Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, contractors, and professional employees to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Engage in continuous improvement and skills development initiatives as directed by the manager.
- Complete all assigned work orders promptly, assist in prioritizing tasks, and monitor building systems and equipment for optimal performance.
- Monitor the HVAC system and promptly report and issues and irregularities.
- Prepare facilities for in-hour company events, including setup and teardown.
- Conduct building repairs, preventative maintenance, groundskeeping, and general upkeep to maintain a safe and functional environment.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks related to painting, carpentry, plumbing, office furniture, and other building components.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies such as water leaks, electrical issues, or other urgent facility concerns.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and standards to ensure a secure workplace.
- Demonstrate a commitment to CPC’s core values in all tasks and interactions.
- Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of maintenance or trade experience required.
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to send and receive emails and operate office equipment required.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate facility needs, including early mornings, late starts, or weekends as required.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills required.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in industrial trade field or related preferred.
- Electrical aptitude and experience preferred.
