Summary:
The Operations Analyst is responsible for designing analytics and automated reporting for the production and warehouse areas. This role will own the creation and reporting of KPIs and dashboards, as well as perform analysis and build processes to ensure best practices. They will be responsible for analyzing machine capacity, labor projections, productivity, and warehouse capacity. This role will enable easier access to actionable data across the company to inform business decisions. The ability to tell the story with data to diverse audiences is important in this role, as is working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain various reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
- Create weekly and monthly analytics, dashboards, and reports to track and communicate production performance.
- Perform detailed analysis to support decision making around machine efficiency, headcount, machine capacity, productivity, and warehouse capacity
- Provide analysis for S&OP inputs such as capacity management, labor projection, and scenario planning.
- Develop and maintain Power BI for shop floor displays and notifications.
- Gather and manipulate data from multiple sources. Maintain data connections to ensure perpetual access to data for all stakeholders.
- Support production and warehouse management in identifying and accessing needed data to make actionable and data driven decisions
- Automate and expand existing reporting to reduce time gathering data at all levels.
- Develop executive-ready presentations that tell the story behind the data; present analysis and findings to a variety of audiences.
- Attend tier meetings to see common issues and recommend analytics to support the team
- Assist with managing Oracle master data such as routings, BOMs, item masters, and warehouse locators.
- Perform ad-hoc data gathering and analysis for mass changes of Oracle data
- Optimize existing Power BI reports to improve stability and data integrity.
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional internal partners (IT, Quality, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain) to generate effective insights and results.
- Assist the technology team in designing applications that optimize operations processes.
- Assist with project management for selected projects.
- Adheres to all safety regulations.

Qualification Requirements:
- 2-5 years of manufacturing operations experience required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing, business, science, engineering, or technical discipline
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with advanced expertise in Excel required.
- Knowledge and experience implementing lean principles in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Oracle manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI, data extraction, and analysis required.
- Experience solving problems at the shop-floor level for manual production or warehousing.
- Proven ability to learn new software platforms, test new ideas and consider new methodologies.
- Bias for action, accuracy, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
- Ability to work collaboratively to investigate problems and resolve issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, sitting is regularly required; use of hands and fingers, and talk or hear. Reaching is frequently required with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and/or stoop.
