Your Role
Are you ready to make an impact? As a Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization’s success. You will work closely with our dedicated teams to develop effective solutions that align with CPC’s strategic goals. Summary: The Test Engineer will work with both internal and external resources. This position performs research and testing of varying complexity on CPC and compatriot products to provide accurate and thorough data for engineering staff, customers, and fellow employees.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate testing supporting product development, customer needs, quality investigations, and operations improvements.
- Leads Product Test Plan Development efforts of varying complexity on new or existing equipment in partnership with the Design Engineering Teams
- Ensures testing documentation is complete and complies with current practice.
- Communicates test results; assists with analysis of data and writing of test reports related to test procedures and results.
- Performs tests of varying complexity on new, existing, and competitive materials and products
- Daily task coordination for technicians and interns
- Supports overall lab maintenance and improvements, including maintenance and improvement of existing test apparatus.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the CPC lab.
- Adheres to all safety regulations.
- Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, or related fields.
- Curious, creative, and tenacious problem solver.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required; must communicate effectively with internal departments, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively across various engineering and business roles.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Demonstrated history of measurements using digital and analog instruments.
- Energetic and enthusiastic approach toward testing, complimented by an educated and realistic business outlook.
