Summary: The Test Technician III is responsible for performing tests on varying complexity of products and materials to provide accurate and thorough data to engineering staff, customers, and fellow employees.

- Performs tests of varying complexity on new, existing, and competitive materials and products.
- Ensures testing documentation is complete and complies with current practice.
- Communicates test results; assists with analysis of data and writing of test reports related to test procedures and results.
- Supports overall lab maintenance and improvements, including maintenance and improvement of existing test apparatus.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the CPC lab.
- Adheres to all safety regulations.
- Demonstrates support of CPC core values.

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to do so. - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in product testing. May require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience required.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AS degree in related science preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge desired with a strong technical aptitude preferred.
- Experience with measurement tools (multi-meters, force gauges, torque wrenches) preferred.
- Experience in executing tests and data recording in a lab setting preferred.
- Experience in working with hydraulic and pneumatic based tests preferred.
- Experience in writing/improving work instructions preferred.
- Strong initiative and passion for learning preferred.
- Experience with prototype builds, test fixture design preferred.
- Basic knowledge with CAD preferred.
