Your Role

Responsibilities:

  • Developing front-end website architecture which includes designing interactive, responsive, and dynamic web pages
  • Collaborate with our Digital marketing team to ensure optimal UX/UI experience for all website users, including the usability of our CMS admin tools
  • Maintain top website speed and performance through the occasional management of back-end databases and systems
  • Writing and debugging code to ensure that a product works as intended
  • Communicating with other developers on their team or across departments to share knowledge and coordinate work efforts
  • Analyzing business requirements to create functional specifications that will be used for development
  • Participating in meetings with other members of the development team to discuss progress on projects and identify any issues that may arise
  • Testing new features to ensure they function as intended
  • Creating prototypes of new features to test feasibility before beginning work on the final product
  • Monitoring performance of applications to ensure they are running efficiently and responding quickly to user input
  • Analyzing data to identify problems or opportunities for improvement
  • Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.

 

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • 2+ years of web development experience building modules/components with modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Proficient in Razor syntax for C# in ASP.NET
  • Experience with CSS frameworks, preferably Tailwind CSS
  • Experience with package managers, preferably NPM
  • Experience interacting with web APIs in JavaScript
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Experience managing content within a CMS platform, preferably DNN Evoq and 2sxc
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task/prioritize work
  • Interpersonal skills, ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
  • This role may require less than 5% travel. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.

Preferred Skills:

  • Structured Query Language (SQL) and an SQL management tool (Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio preferred)
  • Familiar with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) standards and principles
  • Experience in task management systems, preferably Jira, Asana
  • Familiar with application development methodologies and frameworks such as Agile and Scrum
  • Design systems such as Figma; UI/UX design; basic design concepts and fundamentals

    • This range is the pay scale for this role in Minnesota. Individual compensation is based on skills, experience, and qualifications related to this position.
