POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Site Director for MPG’s Criteria Labs business unit, you will lead Criteria Labs’ Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain departments, consistently achieving business objectives while driving continuous improvement, revenue achievement, and growth.  The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced individual who demonstrates strong leadership skills, technical knowledge in microelectronics, and the ability to inspire, motivate and effectively manage teams.  This position maintains full P&L responsibility for site and reports directly to the Vice President of MPG Solutions.  

 

Job Requirements: 

  • Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Formulate and execute long-term strategies to achieve the site’s goals, anticipating challenges and market changes, and adapting operations plans to drive sustainable growth and profitability  

  • Drive Operational Efficiency: Oversee site operations, ensuring optimal performance, productivity, and quality control through effective process management and resource allocation 

  • Lean Product and Process Development: Continuously improve product development processes to maximize investment in leading technology development 

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a continuous improvement ethos through actions and contributions, maintaining and improving customer deliveries 

  • Supply Chain Optimization: Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, inventory control, logistics, and vendor management  

  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop, maintain, and enhance a close working relationship between MPG and our customers with support of MPG’s Business Development team 

  • Customer Support: Work with customer management personnel for the timely resolution and disposition of all customer concerns 

  • Target Setting and Execution: Manages performance measures (KPI's) and provides regular progress via monthly business reviews and reports 

  • Compliance: Ensure external regulatory, legal, and internal governance responsibilities are met and are aligned with MPG’s practices and actions 

  • Motivate and Inspire: Establish and maintain employee morale at a high level 

  • Personnel Development: Responsibility for the training, growth, motivation and success of the staff, including, interviewing, hiring, driving objectives throughout the organization

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:  

  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance is required; active clearance is preferred 

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or business discipline plus 12 years of experience 

  • Minimum of six years of experience in DoD markets with P&L responsibilities    

  • Demonstrated business growth in a technology-driven organization 

  • Significant experience establishing relationships with Defense and Space customers 

  • Clean Room and Packaging Expertise: Experience managing operations in clean room environments, ensuring strict compliance with industry standards and protocols 

  • Communication Skills:  Has a proven track record of successfully interfacing on a regular basis with customers as well as managing a remote workforce 

  • Teamwork Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead team activities in such a manner as to achieve common goals, objectives and group commitments 

  • Decision Making and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to take action in solving strategic business problems in-line with the overall company goals and objectives. 

  • Technology Skills: Possesses an advanced level of computer and Microsoft Office skills
