The Director, SaaS is a a critical member of our DFS Solutions Segment leadership team. The individual will be responsible for defining, developing, scaling and managing the service architecture, best practices, and organization for our DFS DX Platform and related solutions. The Director, SaaS  will collaborate with our Product leaders to define the vision, strategy and implementation for delivering our short, medium- and long-term SaaS systems and services . The role will also partner with our Sales teams, providing strategic input on service requirements to ensure deals are successfully closed and service delivery exceeds customer expectations. Additionally, the Director will work with our Engineering team to ensure we are developing repeatability, predictability, supportability and scalability into our products and solutions.  The Director will also work closely with global and regional support and managed services teams to facilitate service activation and customer onboarding. This role leads a global team located in India, Europe, and North America enabling 7x24x365 follow the sun operational support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead an organization that will translate the SaaS vision into a core SaaS architecture focused on systems and services;
  • Accountable for SaaS Systems (Platform administration, software deployment, application monitoring and management.
  • Accountable for SaaS Services (deployment support, implementations, device upgrade, remote software pushes, launch and onboarding support and sales support).
  • Work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure that existing product engineering is coordinated with our SaaS strategy and has a consistent evolutionary pathway to align with our future SaaS ecosystem;
  • Work closely with key suppliers and partners, such as Microsoft, to ensure that our technical strategy concentrates on efficient use of industry-leading capabilities, as well as on our own development expertise;
  • Ensure a focus on high-quality repeatability and predictability in evolving our technical SaaS strategy;
  • Serve as the core SaaS decision-maker for technical strategy realization and escalations;
  • Maintain alignment across all stakeholder groups;
  • Manage third-party software and service providers to ensure products are fit for purpose, delivered with high quality and represent value for money;
  • Ensure appropriate SLAs and relationships are in place with customers and suppliers;
  • Develop and advocate appropriate, meaningful metrics for the team – technology KPIs, velocity, quality and service delivery – and ensure appropriate reporting is issued to key stakeholders;
  • Hire, train and mentor a high-performing team.



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field;
  • Seven more years of experience managing SaaS operations preferably in Microsoft Azure; with at least three years in a leadership role;
  • Demonstrated success as a SaaS expert with tangible career achievements;
  • Full lifecycle experience in delivering and operating a portfolio of advanced software products at scale and delivered as SaaS;
  • Experience leading the evolution of product technology from legacy architectures to an effective SaaS model;
  • Deep understanding of – and success navigating – the challenges that arise in adopting and adapting to the design and delivery of SaaS product and delivery models globally;
  • Success working with and directly influencing architecture, engineering and operations teams;
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Comfort and experience with communicating effectively with senior levels (e.g., enterprise leadership, board of directors) Executive presence and managerial courage – able to establish credibility with senior management, channel partners, customers and team members, and assert and defend a point-of-view;
  • Experience leading and managing a team of geographically distributed professionals, managers and consultants;
  • A passion for delighting customers and delivering solutions that drive their own success;
  • Practical, hands-on experience developing and delivering several large-scale, long-term projects;
  • A demonstrated commitment to the highest levels of ethics and integrity;
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
