Position Summary:
The Software Embedded Engineering Intern will focus on optimizing the deployment lifecycle for new system components. This role is central to our efforts to modernize how we generate, configure, and validate component templates. You will work closely with the Embedded Software team to evaluate current workflows, identifying opportunities to transition from manual processes to more efficient, automated methods. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem-solver who enjoys improving system architectures and ensuring that customer-specific configurations are both accurate and scalable.
Position Responsibilities:

Workflow Optimization: Evaluate and benchmark the most efficient methodologies for creating component templates. You will analyze the trade-offs between manual configuration and automated generation to establish best practices for the team.

Template & Configuration Development: Execute the creation of precise software templates and configurations for our "calculator" modules. You will ensure these configurations are tailored to meet diverse customer specifications and model requirements.

Quality Assurance & Testing: Review the current template testing lifecycle and provide actionable recommendations to improve speed, coverage, and reliability.

Deployment Readiness: Assist the Embedded team in preparing production-ready configurations, ensuring that all templates are validated and ready for immediate deployment in the field.

Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of the template logic and the evaluation process to ensure long-term consistency within the software library.
Qualification Requirements:

Enrolled in BS in an engineering discipline (preferably Computer Science or Software Engineering)

Knowledge of XML and be familiar with Visual Studio.

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Knowledge of cross-functional design teams.
