This position reports to the North America FP&A Director and will be responsible for providing detailed cost/SG&A analysis across the region in additional to providing support to other key FP&A responsibilities to include the New Product Development (NPD) process. The focus will be on development and improvement of business partnership relationships across the region, partnering closely with business leaders to manage expenses, align expenses to strategic focus areas, provide actionable reporting at a regular cadence with relevant commentary. Additionally, this role will partner closely with product management to build and track business cases for new products and product improvement initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed, actionable reporting and commentary for regional expenses and ensure they are aligned to strategic initiatives
- Build business partner relationships with key business leaders to give them insights into their spending and help them to better manage their aspect of the business
- Partner with operations finance to ensure COGS is aligned in the forecast and analyze actuals to help drive margin improvement
- Develop and maintain a regular reporting cadence to the broader organization to include P&L results, B/S metrics, Working Capital reporting and forecast updates
- Create or improve operational efficiencies by process improvement and automation of source data flow through financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Work directly with product management to improve the NPD business case template and maintain regular updates to the same as the needs of the business evolve
- Willingness and ability to gather, test & scrub data sets for use in financial models
- Other ad hoc FP&A tasks, as required

Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum BS or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance, or other related discipline; MBA and CPA certification preferred
- 7+ years’ experience in financial analysis management with proven technical expertise and leadership in driving operational finance standards, processes and procedures
- 3 - 5 years of strategic FP&A experience
- Solid manufacturing-related business acumen, including working knowledge and experience with standard, job and activity-based costing
- Ability to gather, test & scrub data sets for use in financial models
- Proven strong working knowledge of integrated financial consolidation software
- Expert user of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Oracle or another modern ERP
