Summary

Performs facility repairs and upgrades including preventative maintenance. Maintains equipment used in the manufacturing process including mechanical and electrical repairs. Supports construction projects as required with new layouts, including drywall, electrical, pneumatic and lighting installations. Must be familiar with various types of hand tools and power tools.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with all departments to complete projects which support their operation
  • Install air lines and their associated components
  • Perform preventative maintenance production equipment and facilities related equipment
  • Repair minor HVAC issues
  • Building maintenance
  • Dock Lock/ Levelers maintenance
  • Take down, move and reinstall machines and/or equipment as needed
  • Install electrical wiring, conduit, boxes, etc.
  • Facility upgrades includes setting up/demo of office cubes, painting, drywall, changing lights, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
  • Able to work well alone or with a team with minimal supervision
  • Adhere closely to safety protocol and all EHS guidelines
  • Support the 5S Methodology

 

Qualification Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Electrical experience (working with 110-220 single phase)
  • 3 – 5 years of experience on maintenance activities
