Maintenance Technician III

Support a wide range of requests from production and facility equipment to facility moves in production and office areas is required. Maintains equipment used in the manufacturing process including mechanical and electrical repairs. Supports construction projects as

required with new layouts, including drywall, electrical, pneumatic and lighting installations. Must be familiar with various types of hand tools and power tools.


Position Responsibilities:

• Work with all departments to complete projects which support their operation

• Troubleshooting and repair to Automated Machinery (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic)

• Install air lines and their associated components

• Install and maintain hydraulic system components

• Perform preventative maintenance production equipment and facilities related equipment

• Repair minor HVAC issues

• Building maintenance

• Take down, move and reinstall machines and/or equipment as needed

• Install electrical wiring, conduit, boxes, etc.

• Facility upgrades includes setting up/demo of office cubes, painting, drywall, changing lights, etc.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures

• Able to work well with minimal supervision

• Adhere closely to safety protocol and all EHS guidelines

• Support the 5S Methodology

• Welding a plus

• Trouble-shoot electrical problems on PLC, computer driven and multi-feature equipment

• Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus


Qualification Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Electrical (working with 110-220 single phase and 208-480V 3 phase)

• Previous Maintenance Experience > 4 years

• Pneumatic & Hydraulic trouble shooting experience

• Industrial/Automated machine trouble shooting and repairs


Must be able to operate the following equipment with training if needed:

• Forklift - Genie boom (high reach) - Scissor-lift

• General shop equipment

• Able to stand and/or walk continuously for entire shift

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. continuously

• Able to work at heights of 20 feet plus
