The successful candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, strong technical and communication skills, excellent computer skills, and the ability to develop, support, and improve test and process solutions in a team oriented lean production environment.


Qualification Requirements:        

  • B.S. Degree in engineering (electrical, computer science, cis, or related)
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing assembly process.
  • Programming experience with National Instruments hardware and software tools or strong C programming skills.
  • Electronic and Mechanical CAD designing skills.
  • Electronic and mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in communicating technical issues verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to provide manufacturing process improvement and problem resolution support.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, take direction and work independently.
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to track and meet targets.
  • Introduction of automation systems into manufacturing processes


Position Responsibilities:              

  • Develops test plans, designs and implements hardware, software and processes for new electronic products and improvements to existing products.
  • Provide production support for technical issues with test, product configuration, and hardware.
  • Data collection and analysis to support process and product improvements.
  • Participates on new product development and introduction teams.  Works with product engineering to develop test specifications.
  • Integrate new designs into production processes.
  • Improve production and test processes based on quality, cost, delivery and safety applying automation.
  • Create, update, and review work instructions and test procedures.
  • Work with supplier sales and technical support as needed to develop solutions.
  • Interfaces with internal departments (Design Engineering, Quality Assurance, etc.) to obtain resolution consensus.
  • Provide cost estimates on new and changed products or process changes.
  • Support PC and Network based PC equipment


Preferred Experience:    

  • Oracle manufacturing ERP system.
  • SQL database
  • Track record of implementing process improvements
  • Demonstrated application of Lean and Six Sigma tools
  • MS Windows network troubleshooting experience
