Marketing & Communication Intern

The DFS Employee Communications Intern will play an integral role in leveraging our digital tools to help drive communications equity across both our desk and deskless workforce, ensuring both audiences have real-time access to the company information and news they need. 

Key projects will include: 

- Drafting communication plans and messaging for HR and Employee Engagement initiatives. 

- Writing news articles and creating short videos to keep our employees informed of upcoming events, launches and actions needed. 

- Rebuilding key sites on our DFS Connect intranet, leveraging Audience Based Access Controls (ABAC) to improve communications targeting and site personalization. 

- Building playlists to deploy DFS Connect content to shop floors and break rooms to help scale our digital signage.  

Skills required: 

  • Excellent writing and editing skills 

  • Basic video editing skills using online tools, such as Canva 

  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel 

  • Experience with employee intranet content management platforms
