The Material Handler will work in a team-based manufacturing environment performing a wide variety of tasks in the Wayne Production Operation including, but not limited to, delivery of material to work stations, ensuring count accuracy and an environment that sets a high expectation on Safety and Quality. Must be able to interact and work with peers on common goals, and be flexible in managing day-to-day operations.


Essential Responsibilities: Replenishment of bins of workstations within the Manufacturing area Remove inventory from delivery boxes, pallets, baskets, bags and totes and place in location High attention to housekeeping and work station organization Ensure proper and accurate accounting of all material and inventories Reconcile discrepancies of material receipts as necessary Assists Team Captain in performing cycle counts as required, complete Inventory Verification forms as required Assists Team Captain with the MRB and Scrap of material Assists Inventory Analyst in preforming location audits Maintain proper labeling of part locations in the zones, update as necessary Return of excess inventory to warehouse Exercise independent judgment while maintaining constant communication with material team to resolve inventory issues Practice safe work habits to ensure an injury-free environment; bending, stooping, lifting, proper PPE, buddy lift, etc. Maintain ISO standards within the zone Performs other duties as required
Qualifications/Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 6 months of experience in material handling Ability and willingness to stand for a minimum 10 hours per day and lift up to 40lbs unassisted as required
