Position Summary:  

 

This position is for a Media & Digital Experience Intern supporting the development and optimization of media experiences on fuel dispenser screens. The internship will focus on exploring innovative solutions at the intersection of media, hardware, and AI, with the goal of improving customer engagement, increasing uptime, and enabling scalable content creation. 

 

The intern will work on projects such as AI-driven media content generation, contextual advertising, and system performance optimization, while collaborating across engineering, product, and business teams. This role provides exposure to how digital media operates within real-world hardware environments and how product decisions impact customer experience and business outcomes. 

 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze media system performance and identify opportunities to improve uptime, engagement, and content effectiveness 

  • Design and prototype AI-driven solutions for media content creation, personalization, or optimization 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, operations) to understand system constraints and opportunities 

  • Evaluate how changes to media, hardware, or software systems impact the end-customer experience 

  • Support development of business cases by quantifying potential impact (revenue, engagement, efficiency) 

  • Document findings, insights, and recommendations in a clear and structured manner 

 

Qualification Requirements: 

  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and structured thinking skills; ability to break down complex problems 

  • Engineering / Technical Skills: Basic understanding of software, systems, or engineering concepts (e.g., Python, APIs, or data analysis tools preferred) 

  • AI / Technology Interest: Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., LLMs) and interest in applying them to real-world problems 

  • Data Skills: Comfortable working with data (Excel/Sheets; SQL or Python is a plus) 

  • Customer Mindset: Ability to think from a customer perspective and evaluate how solutions impact user experience

  • Works effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
