Position Summary:

The Systems Business Unit of Dover Fueling Solutions – Product Management organization has an exciting opportunity for a visionary Payment Compliance Manager specializing in managing Payment Compliance activities. The Payment Compliance Manager will manage the execution of the activities required in order to achieve payment certifications (i.e. PCI PTS certification documentation, PCI P2PE certification testing, PCI PADSS certification testing, and EMV Level 1-3 certification). This role will be filled by someone who understands the process of payment certification and understands the activities required to achieve those certifications. Another aspect of this position is product consultation to determine whether the design of a product will meet the requirements for certification and any modifications to the product which must be made in order to meet the requirements for certification. The Payment Compliance Manager is truly a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of Systems Business Unit in the North America market.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow and be current on Payment & Secure Payment Ecosystem Solution industry trends, customer segments and needs
  • Develop a Payment Compliance Roadmap for payment platforms and solutions
  • Develop and drive the project plan for the immediate certification tasks for the payment platforms and solutions such as PCI and EMV
  • Ensure that the compliance project plans are being executed in a timely fashion
  • Maintain thorough understanding of the payment compliance requirements of the retail petroleum market place and what factors influence the market and customer decisions related to product features and functionality
  • Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define the payment compliance needs for payment platforms & services; support definition of product roadmaps and solution capabilities outside the platform
  • Develop the core business vision and strategy and implementing a plan focused on delivering profitable growth for the EPS and Payment Ecosystem Solutions Platform as a part of the Systems Business Unit (SBU) of Dover Fueling Solutions
  • Develop and maintain deep understanding of product capabilities, feature/function and user personas at a level where the product manager is able to demo the product, conduct a competitive feature-function comparison assessment, and engage with super-users of the product on product capabilities
  • Work collaboratively with technology and engineering teams to determine the best approaches for compliance requirements when developing functionality, interfaces, hardware and software platform services
  • Working with Product Marketing to lead the overall message of payment compliance to the market, customers and commercial teams through direct communication and training
  • Define go-to-market strategies for the portfolio by partnering with commercial, solutions marketing, sales, marketing leadership other product team members
  • Participate in the customer Advisory Councils, and user groups, and possibly drive one particular council
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and opportunities

     

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business from an accredited College or University OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 5 years of industry experience
  • Proven project leadership and payment compliance skills
  • Superior knowledge of payment compliance project management
  • Thorough understanding of the documentation, testing and auditing requirements to achieve payment compliance
  • The successful candidate will have Payment Compliance Project Management experience
  • The successful candidate will have Payment Compliance Documentation experience
  • Solutions Marketing and Value Selling experience
  • Exceptional communications skills – verbal & written
  • Courageous customer advocate and change agent
  • Demonstrated IT, Enterprise Software, PaaS, SaaS or cloud network experience
  • Strong technical skills, business acumen and experience working in a B-2-B environment
  • Practiced in formal NPI process and product management frameworks
  • Ability to travel domestically and globally

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • At least 5 years of PCI PTS, POI, PED, UPT, P2PE certification experience
  • At least 3 years of EMV L1, L2, L3 certification experience
