Position Summary:

In this role, the Aftermarket Pricing Analyst will utilize his/her experience and expertise in working with complex data sets to help the businesses determine and set competitive pricing to gain market share and achieve revenue goals.  This is a highly analytical role that will require the pricing professional to consider data from multiple sources and develop complex pricing models that reflect margins for promotional and seasonal pricing based on competitor, market, and customer data.  The Pricing Analysts will collaborate with sales, marketing and engineering teams to develop strategies that drive sales, strong margins, and value to our customers.


Duties/Essential Functions:

  • Proactively price new items as they are released, to include determining appropriate discounts, and entering items on correct price lists in Oracle
  • Conduct ongoing review of existing prices and discounts in our item price lists
  • Update and publish new item price lists no less than annually for distributor use in loading their systems
  • Ensure parts are priced and discounted consistently with similar parts
  • Analyze sales trends to ensure pricing and discount structure optimizes margin dollars while remaining within customer expectations for cost of ownership
  • Gather and analyze information from customers, distributors, ASOs, and competitors for use in pricing and product offering decisions
  • Seek to understand and analyze market, product, channel, and currency exchange rate differences between regions to establish pricing that makes sense in each market
  • Analyze pricing, discounts, and sales activity to ensure one region is not undercutting another for same business
  • Be the reviewer and approver of pricing exceptions, including exception tracking process
  • Provide regular, timely metrics with analysis to management regarding product pricing in each of the regions
  • Respond to/approve special request for quotes: tender process, EOL parts, parts with minimum order requirements, high-volume demand request, etc.
  • Responsible for annual review, update and publication of entire price list for new, and exchange parts, retrofit kits price list to field.
  • Prepare quarterly distribution updates made in the prior quarter. 
  • Manage all discount structures, and ensure product offering and customer are set up to receive proper discount.
  • Responsible for all tenders and requests for quotation. 
  • Be the focal point for all additions, and modifications to tender or quote, and serve as primary interface with sales.

Education & Experience:



  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in pricing, product management, purchasing, cost analysis, or similar roles.
  • 2+ years of experience with Oracle or equivalent ERP system



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education is preferred
  • Project Management experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively in fast paced team environment across multiple time-zones
  • Ability to travel as required
