Position Summary: This position is the leader of a selling Team comprised of Channel Partners. This leader is accountable for achieving the Regions’ sales and profitability goals. This role provides direction and leadership to the Channel Partners while having responsibility for the customer satisfaction and market share within the regional geography.

 

Qualification Requirements:    The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of professional sales management experience, with demonstrated success in systems, software and capital equipment sales, account development and management, channel partner management and customer relationship development. A Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline is required, MBA preferred.

  • Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position
  • Thorough understanding of the sales cycle

  • Proven track record of selling technology, solutions and capital equipment
  • Public speaking/presentation
  • Relationship selling/Account penetration
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications and Salesforce
  • Proven record of driving and winning market share from the competition

 

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of channel sales activities within an assigned territory
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the retail petroleum market place and what factors influence the market  and customer decisions
  • Ongoing evaluations of current market place, Channel partners and develop tactical and strategic initiatives for growth
  • Deliver ongoing products and systems training sessions with channel partners within the assigned territory
  • Effective communication/interaction through all levels of  customers’ organizations
  • Identify sales gaps within the region and create plans to fill the gaps
  • Work closely with regional service managers to add/revise regional service support and assistance when evaluating new growth opportunities or to support existing customer base
  • Ability to focus on job responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Effectively manage their time
  • Able to assume leadership position
  • Successfully prepare and present sales presentations
  • Seek and develop new Channel partners and train them on Wayne products and processes
  • Understand emerging technologies both within the industry and from Dover Fueling Solutions
  • Understand balance sheets, income statements, credit ratings, etc. in order to analyze commercial health of prospective distributors
  • Preparing and submitting requested reports (e.g. weekly sales reports, expense reports, area or account business plans)
  • A wide degree of latitude, creativity and entrepreneurial ideas is expected
