The role of Senior Director, Finance for our North America region, reporting directly to the CFO, is responsible for developing and executing the overall Finance strategy for North America. This role serves as the primary business partner to the VP/GM of North America, supporting all regional leaders and functions in the regional reporting structure. The incumbent will be accountable for financial planning and analysis, as well as the accounting operations of the North America business. As a business partner, the incumbent will need to be capable of making recommendations that drive business related decisions for sales, sales programs, service, operations and quality.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Act as business partner to North America (NA) senior leadership team providing financial, operational and commercial support and guidance
  • Support alignment between strategy and finance across the NA business
  • Responsible for forecasting and budgeting for NA businesses and driving profitability goals through cross-functional partnerships
  • Present monthly and quarterly financial reports as well as providing overview of business performance and status of business’ KPIs to corporate and regional leadership teams
  • Evaluation of market and industry trends to determine if they reflect anticipated company performance
  • Perform business modeling and analysis for various projects to be used in strategic decision making
  • Responsible for allocating capital and providing support for strategic investments
  • Risk management, including SOX compliance and audits
  • Implementing and enforcing policies to minimize risk and ensure financial statements accurately reflect financial position in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ASC 606
  • Championing continuous improvement efforts throughout company and finance department.
  • Manage and leading accounting and finance teams

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience
  • CPA certification required
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting required
  • 10+ years’ experience in professional accounting with proven technical expertise and leadership in driving operational finance standards, processes and procedures, including relevant exposure to SaaS strategy, revenue recognition and software platform capitalization
  • Minimum 3 years of global strategic experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Khalix integrated financial analytic application suite or similar reporting tool
  • Experience with Oracle or another modern ERP
  • Understanding of market and how to support commercial needs (sales)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree (MBA)
