The Service Operations Analyst is a key member of the Service Operations team supporting data management, client reporting, trend analysis and problem resolution.  Data and statistical analysis is an integral piece of performing the job in order to support the business decision making process.

Ability to gather stake holders requirements into reporting deliverables. Develop performance metrics and create ad- hoc reports.  Participate in evaluating new technologies in order to ensure the advancement of technology architecture and data within the service organization.

 

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform profit & loss (P&L) analysis
  • Analyze data; create and automated reports for internal and external customers
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Develop leadership scorecards, dynamic dashboards, design and implement financial reports, perform ad hoc analysis.
  • Build dynamic and powerful reports and dashboards
  • Understand networking and server topology and propose improvements
  • Dashboard development in SSRS and process workflows in Nintex for SharePoint
  • Business process management including employee performance metrics and call center benchmarking
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Special projects deemed necessary by your manager.

Required Education/Experience:

  • BA/BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or 3-5+ years of experience as a data analyst
  • Experience working in Call Center and/or Technical Support environment
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suites R12

 

Required Technical Skills:

  • Advanced analytical skills, with applications in designing performance measurement and reporting tools, capacity planning, business process design, cost management and financial forecasting
  • Knowledge and understanding of ETL development, monitoring, batch or data processing in an automated scheduled environment is required.
  • Experience with development in Microsoft BI/ETL & Data Integration tools (SSRS, SSIS, SQL Server)
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL - Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Language Experience - XML, JavaScript, ETL/OLAP frameworks, Python, HTML5, VBA, BAT
  • Share Point Administration, Oracle and Microsoft Access experience
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Tools – Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio
  • Exceptional Excel skills, including knowledge of pivot tables, data imports, lookup functions, if/and statements, complex logical formulas
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical applications for analysing large datasets such as Excel, SPSS, SAS, R.
  • Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) software
  • Experience working with large data set from multiple data sources
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

  • Support business intelligence users and train on tools as needed
  • A champion of quality, able to QA and vouch for the integrity of the report output
  • Accustomed to providing all the options related to achieving the user’s objectives using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Assessing current processes and recommending changes as needed
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • A consummate collaborator, able to establish strong relationships with management, engineering, technical, product, finance and business experts
  • Documenting and communicating technical specifications to ensure that proper and optimized techniques, queries, data standards, and final deliverables are understood and incorporated into data and analytics processes
  • Filter and “clean” data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Seek out unsolved problems and take the initiative to address them
