Position Summary

Dover Fueling Solutions is seeking a SharePoint Architect to join our Austin, TX based Global IT Team. The SharePoint Architect will install, configure, maintain and upgrade the Enterprise SharePoint software. This Architect will be responsible for continually improving SharePoint and for the overall operational health of the SharePoint environment which may include security, availability, performance, reliability and interoperability.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, upgrades, troubleshooting and configuration of all SharePoint services and Windows servers
  • Manage SharePoint licenses and permissions
  • Prepare, implement and sustain SharePoint upgrades
  • Create and generate SharePoint performance, usage and issue reports

 

Candidate Experience and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline strongly preferred, or comparable combination of education and experience is required
  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of SharePoint Farm Administration experience
  • Microsoft SharePoint Certification, preferred
  • Prior experience monitoring and troubleshooting SharePoint 2013 in an enterprise environment (multi-server farms)
  • SharePoint Online Experience
  • Extensive knowledge of SharePoint architectural design
  • Microsoft Server experience
  • Team player and self-starter with minimal supervision
  • Organization, time management, and prioritization skills

     

Essential Functions

  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in excess of 8 hours per day
  • Ability to effectively/clearly communicate, both verbally and in written forms

  • Site Collection development – both on premise and SharePoint Online
  • Powershell, Javascript, Jquery for use with SharePoint
  • Nintex Workflow experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Workflows
  • SharePoint branding and customization (CSS, Design Packages, Master Page customization for both on premise and SharePoint Online – used with our internal intranet and also for Single Sign On Sharepoint site)
  • Web Development - .NET, C#, Javascript, Jquery, CSS, Bootstrap
  • Managed Termset navigation
  • Development of Intranet/Extranet with SharePoint
  • SharePoint Extended Web applications with forms based authentication
  • FBA user management
  • Experience creating Sharepoint Apps(Add-ins) using Visual Studio
  • Familiarity with REST API for SharePoint
  • SharePoint Online External user sharing (Implementation and security)
  • Experience with ShareGate, preferred
  • SQL Server Administration/Development
  • BCS (Business Connectivity Service) with SQL Server and Oracle
  • Experience implementing SharePoint security
