Position Overview:
As a Shipping/Receiving/ Maintenance Clerk you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods into and out of our warehouse. This role requires a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the receiving process by inspecting and verifying shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Utilize a warehouse management system to accurately track and record inventory.
- Use an RF scanner to efficiently and accurately document and organize packages.
- Operate a reach truck to load and unload goods from pallets.
- Conduct order picking and pack orders for shipping.
- Ensure that all shipments are properly packaged and prepared for shipment.
- Utilize ERP system to maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure that all orders are fulfilled promptly and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by resolving any issues or concerns related to shipping and receiving.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Perform minor facilities maintenance tasks.
Experience:
- High school diploma is required
- Strong background in warehouse operations
- Basic math skills
- Operating a reach truck is preferred
- Be able to fix simple facilities issues.
