Position Summary:

 

This role will be a senior leader in the North America Systems Business Unit product management organization charged with creating breakthrough benefits for customers. This leader will own significant product portfolios, associated product development roadmaps, product management, commercial support and collaborate across functions to enable systems revenue growth. This position is also critical in developing our SaaS Solutions global operations organization which is critical to the transformation of the industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

SBU Management:

 

  • Manage the Revenue / Gross Margin for the product management and revenue of approximately 100M US$, driving growth through Payment product, Automation solution for the Fuel Retail, SaaS / Cloud solutions
  • Develop a strategy for developing and communication a bold vision for executing the product portfolio, Outdoor Payment solutions standalone or integrated in the Dispenser, Media Solutions, Point of Sale, Forecourt Control, Gateway Solutions and Cloud Solutions
  • Define the product / component roadmap for the next three years and create visibility on the longer term vision. Develop and coordinate a comprehensive pipeline of new product and enhancement opportunities across the North America organization by integrating inputs from our regional organization, third party suppliers, channel partners by establishing a competitive pricing strategy for SBU products
  • Demonstrate excellence in execution; align key stakeholders to decisions, e.g. Global Engineering and Operations, working in a highly collaborative way with cross-functional partners and customers; insights driven
  • Develop partnerships with the industry leaders on how to integrate our products to achieve end-to-end solutions for the customer and develop a robust marketing plan
  • Support the North America Service organization
  • Leads a team of product and solutions professionals within the SBU North America region
  • Partner with other SBU GM’s to define a global component / solution strategy

     

 Global SaaS Operations:

                       

  • Set-up and manage a global SaaS business infrastructure, i.e. Licencing, Infrastructure, Life Cycle Management, Service & Support
  • Service terms management
  • The long term strategy is to move to Microsoft Azure and to develop one DFS Cloud
  • Develop a close relationship with the Global and Regional Service Organization
  • Design service and support that provides global, 24/7 coverage
  • Develop global data security awareness

 

Candidate Qualification:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Masters’ degree preferred
  • Must have 15+ years of work experience in the Software Solutions & Services Industry
  • Strong leadership skills, proven ability to attract the best talent and build highly engaged teams that deliver superior business results
  • Leader with a mindset to coach and mentor not only their team, also prepared to mentor other leaders within the organization 
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate across organizations
  • Has a customer driven mindset and aptitude for engineering excellence
  • Prior experience in leading directors, managers and engineers at all levels; skilled at guiding them through their career development
  • Has a strong product management background, marketing management and technical background
  • Experience in leading software development organizations within technology-focused companies with products deployed globally in enterprise SaaS/cloud-based platform environments
