Position Summary:

 

 

 

Dover Fueling Solutions, a global leader in fuel dispensing, payment processing and point of sale technology, is seeking an Engineer specializing in Cloud Technologies. The DevOps Engineer will set up and maintain cloud environments needed for projects building and supporting company’s SaaS offerings for worldwide customers. In this capacity, you understand the complexities associated with creating and configuring application clusters and supporting services for large scale systems used by thousands of users every day. In addition, DevOps engineer will develop software components that are part of SaaS offerings.  This job reports to the Manager of Digital Solutions.

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze cloud application infrastructure requirements and creatively solve problems in the DevOps space, collaborating with Development, QA and Ops team members
  • Set up and maintain cloud environments for dev, qa, integration, staging and production of SaaS offerings
  • Maintain and if required increase the level of automation of build and deployment processes
  • Develop software components using company cloud platform.
  • Debug and provide fixes to infrastructure issues.
  • Build and enhance internal tools to assist with the delivery of cloud applications
  • Enforce DevOps best practices, standards and processes.
  • Provide technical documentation of DevOps solutions and tools.

 

The successful candidate will have/possess: 

 

  • Experience in configuring Microsoft Azure application services.
  • Hands-on experience in developing PowerShell scripts.
  • Experience in developing .NET Core in C#
  • Good understanding of the software development cycle.
  • Effective interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization, time management, and prioritization skills.

 

Qualification Requirements:

 

 

 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied IT or similar engineering domain
  • 1 year of DevOps experience on Azure platform
  • Familiarity with .NET Core libraries
  • Familiar with tools such VSTS build agents, TeamCity, Octopus, jira
  • Some knowledge and experience of Agile (Scrum) methodology.
  • Team player and self-starter with minimal supervision.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Cloud experience in other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with test automation.
