The successful Manager Facilities and Maintenance candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, strong technical and communication skills, excellent computer skills, and the ability to provide facilities and maintenance improvement solutions in a team-oriented Lean production environment.

 

Position Responsibilities:

•    Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of our manufacturing plants.
•    Provide production support for technical issues with facilities (Lighting, floor, ducks, HVAC units, etc.).
•    Assess the facility resources requirements.

•    Design and optimize the facility’s layouts and critical operational systems.
•    Develop facilities process plans and optimize resource allocation.
•    Coordinates the remodeling projects, updating, and reviewing of work.
•    Interfaces with internal departments (Maintenance, Purchasing, etc.) to obtain resolution consensus.
•    Analyzing project costs and preparing budgets.
•    Planning and coordinating infrastructure maintenance schedules and activities.
•    Coordinate and oversee contractors performing maintenance activities.
•    Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.

•    Establish deadlines for jobs relevant to shop activity and monitor performance on a monthly basis
•    Prepare reports and compliance documentation.
•    Gather and analyze data, blueprints, and reports.

•    Lead, encourage, and train workers in safe work practices. Company safety rules must be enforced, and work must be done to eliminate hazardous conditions.
 

Qualification / Requirements:

•    B.S. Degree in engineering (electrical, electromechanical, computer science, or related) is preferred or equivalent experience

•    6+ years of required technical experience
•    5+ years of leading a Maintenance / Facilities department 

•    Electronic and Mechanical CAD designing skills.
•    Electronic and mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills.
•    Ability to develop and implement utility plans.
•    Perform system evaluations and establish operational efficiency. 
•    Ability to prioritize tasks, take direction, and work independently.
•    Proven project management skills and strong knowledge of structural code requirements.

•    Demonstrated application of Lean and Six Sigma tools is preferred

Work Arrangement : Onsite  

Salary Range : $110,840.00   - $128,965.00
