Position Summary:  The Warehouse Operator I will work in a team-based manufacturing environment performing a wide variety of tasks in the Warehouse including, but not limited to, shipment and receipt of goods while maintaining an environment that sets a high expectation on Safety and Quality.  Must be able to interact and work with peers on common goals, and be flexible in managing day-to-day operations in scheduling, staffing and productivity.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Pick inventory items to support internal customer orders
  • Procurement and delivery of parts within the Manufacturing area
  • Ensure proper and accurate accounting of all receipts and inventories and reconcile as necessary
  • Assists Warehouse Team Captain and/or Warehouse Supervisor in performing location audits and cycle counts as required
  • Exercise independent judgment while maintaining constant communication with supervisor to resolve receipt issues
  • Practice safe work habits to ensure an injury-free environment; actively involved with safety audits, near miss/first aid reports, safety hazard training, and Safety 10 Commandments
  • Maintain ISO standards within the zone
  • Performs other duties as required




  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in picking, packing and shipping
  • Ability and willingness to stand for a minimum 4 hours per day and lift up to 50lbs unassisted as required



Additional Attributes:

  • Previous experience operating narrow aisle swing-reach (turret truck) and stockpicker forklifts
  • Understanding of picking and shipping documents, i.e. pick list, packing list, bill of lading
  • Previous experience with hand-held RF terminals
  • Basic PC skills
  • Experience using the Oracle Enterprise system
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions and written procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • High level of accuracy; keen attention to detail
