MISSION:

Assumes responsibility and participates in the development of a product or a line of products, from their conception to their availability on the market. Based on a market analysis provided by Marketing (information from the field, external studies) and depending on the company's objectives, proposes a definition of the product, designs or validates sales support tools (documentation, prices, sales pitch, training, etc.). He follows the commercial and technical evolution of his range (creation, life, evolution, deletion) informs and assists the sales force, coordinates the activities which contribute to the sale of the product. It follows the stages of production before making it available on the market via the manufacture of prototypes.

 

MAIN TASKS :

The product manager is dedicated to his market

  • Taking into account of market studies, definition of needs, quantities issued by Marketing ...
  • Price: holds all standard costs. Position prices / rates / Study of marketing competition following agreement with sales direction. Check and validate the rates
  • Products: listens to various product issues (quality, adaptations, lost orders, etc.). Is responsible for the range follow-up (modification, evolution, deletion) and launches of new products.
  • Forecast / Sales: Annual quantities transmitted to production following sales estimate via sales / marketing team, stock (Catalog classification, standard, specific), studies price margin, follows turnover.
  • Tools and Documentation: Selectors, Technical documentation with the BE, Commercial product documentation (NON-MARKET) with the Com.
  • Monitoring: Presence at Trade Shows, field visits, etc.
  • Communication: Internal and external on all deletions, modifications, evolutions, novelties, competition information… in their appointed range.
  • Joint sales support tools with Marketing: Rationale / competition, advantages ... List of references.
  • Training: presentation of ranges, updating.
  • Actions: Referencing of its products, field-test monitoring in the field, "typical groups"
  • Reporting: Monthly point to the Head of the PSD on actions made, in progress, to come and proposals.
  • Participate in the definition of the company's commercial policy. Can provide technical assistance to customers.
  • The activity requires significant autonomy and availability. Travel is frequent (trade fairs, customer visits, etc.)
  • Technological and commercial watch: ensure a sharp technological watch on MOUVEX's business sector, monitor and anticipate competing product offers in order to identify their advantages and disadvantages in order to adapt the Mouvex offer in // with Marketing.
  • - Can participate in the support of projects (offer) including its range.
  • - Be an actor in the company's continuous improvement process. Add for managers: and offer their team a conducive environment to engage in this process.
  • - Within its scope of responsibility, take into account quality, accident prevention, occupational safety and environmental protection, and actively participate in the prevention of damage to people, equipment and the environment

 

GENERAL AND PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE:

Listening and speaking skills. (meetings, training ...).

Force of proposal and leader to carry out its mission.

Good knowledge of the business sector of the company.

Technical expertise allowing easy dialogue with technical contacts at the customer's premises and various internal departments (Production, studies, purchases, After sales, etc.).

Experience in project management, in order to meet deadlines and the qualitative aspects of the service as well as possible.

Minimum fluency in English, another European language a plus.

Mobile, ready to make many trips in France and abroad.

 

Technical training, you demonstrate adaptability and justify successful experience in at least one of the following areas:

Project management
Product design
Technical and commercial assistance to customers
Product management
The activity requires a strong taste for written and oral communication; Mastery of English is indispensable.
