Business Leader Field Services

The Business Leader Field Services position is accountable for leading major services initiatives and coordinating these activities.  Develops and manages CES Field Services strategy to support business growth objectives.  Measures and continuously improve services performance in terms of customer service, technical support, sales productivity, market capabilities, and planning.  Develops and implements a comprehensive set of services policies, programs, and terms and conditions to drive appropriate Services behavior.  Formulates, communicates, implements and evaluates strategic plans.  Maintain active working relationships with key CES Field Services customers. 

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Sets goals and provides vision, leadership and direction to the Services team.  Defines local markets, service sales potential and appropriate sales strategies for an area.
  • Develops and implements the strategic direction to achieve business plans for the Field Service Organization.
  • Communicates Services strategies and CES objectives.  Ensures internal lines of communication are open and functioning.
  • Develop and implement Services strategies.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key customers.
  • Manages Services expenses within assigned budget.
  • Ensure staff are properly trained.
  • Manages base costs to gain operational efficiencies.
  • Analyzes business results and adjusts short-term business strategies to accomplish goals.
  • Works with the Service Sales & Marketing team to establish pricing, promotion, logistical resources and required inventory to promote and deliver all service-related products.
  • Interfaces with Plant Operations personnel to support product warranty activities, placing emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Supports the needs of other segments/divisions globally.
  • Manages and directs staff activities across the country.
  • Flexibility for travel; up to 70%. 

 

 

Safety, Health and Environment Responsibilities

 

  • Attend 100% of mandatory safety training arranged by EHS.
  • Ensure 100% attendance of direct reports on mandatory safety training arranged by EHS.
  • Include HS&E topics in staff meetings and documents (e.g. ergonomics, office safety issues, shop safety issues, field safety issues).
  • Ensure compliance with Visitor Safety Program.
  • Conduct accident investigations for direct reports in accordance with the Accident Investigation Program.
  • Completion assigned corrective actions stemming from workplace safety inspections in a timely fashion.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required, Engineering degree preferred
  • 10 plus years of work-related experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office
