Customer Service is responsible for customer orders, and requests, call volume to ensure service standard to achieve business results.  He/She is responsible for the achievement of service, on-time delivery and quality metrics. He/she will demonstrate and encourage a sense of urgency to the customer, ensuring follow-up and resolution to build and strengthen customer relationships.   He/she is responsible for the day-to-day customer service, performance standards and directing work and assignments.

 

The Customer Service reports to Supervisor, Customer Service.  The position is located in Bangkok, Thailand.  The position requires the ability to work and communicate with internal and external customers and channel partners and interacts proactively with Sales, Product & Applications Engineering, Manufacturing, Field Service and Technical Support, and leaders across various departments and functions.

 

Key Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Service Customers in Asia and Pacific as well as Inter-company in a professional and timely manner
  • Prepare quotations for standard product and special project within time and competitive package
  • Sale Order processing (Order acknowledgement, Shipment Advance Notice and on-time delivery with freight management until customer receiving with complete payment)
  • Verify pricing and support Manager in creating price lists for the region
  • Daily update delivery status and summary reports to customers and managements
  • Cooperate with Customers, Sales Engineers, Technical Service, Engineering and Manufacturing personnel to obtain appropriate required information enough to proceed Sale order/Enquiry and can correspond with Customer effectively
  • Initiate, Improve and track to achieve goal of Key Performance Index toward company policy
  • Continuously improve Customer Satisfaction using appropriate modern CRM tools
  • Liaise with other plants for price, availability including with technical support for customers.
  • Monitoring and closely communicate with other plants to ensuring that the shipment is in order, deliver in time with correct parts, quantity and delivery address
  • Create new part items and new customers into data base under the sufficient document supporting (as per regulation)
  • Closely coordinate/negotiate with Materials planners for being ensure that parts will be delivery on time
  • Investigate and find solution for customer complains
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

Experience:

  • Requires a minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience in customer service or Technical support and correspondence in an industrial environment
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and experience with using ERP
  • Skill in IT equipment and modern office accessories
  • Excellent people skill and outgoing personality
  • Self-motivated and attentive to details e.g. price or technical requirement
  • Very dynamic and service mind
  • Can work under pressure with minimum supervision
  • Fast learner and willing to take new responsibilities
  • Positive attitude and must be good Team player
  • Can drive car with license
  • Self-discipline and be model role for best benefit as Customer Representative
  • Willing to learn products, process and adjust into environment
  • Understanding in shipment flow
  • Systematic and organized

  • Analytical thinker, high business sense with ability to make decisions and problem solve in a timely manner
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with multi-level of team to meet deadlines
  • Flexible, learns quickly, willing to change with the needs of the customer and markets
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, internal and external customers, and manage stressful situations with a positive attitude
  • Excellent communicator including facilitation, verbal, and written skills
  • Ability to provide service status, and maintain a high level of communication
  • Ability to lead change with minimal supervision
  • Understanding in shipment processing and also shipping documents
  • Communication skills; sincere, simple to understanding, clear, short and direct to the point
  • Organize and precise with works especially in documentation
  • Flexible approach working but under rule and regulation

 

Education and Certification Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field required
  • Diploma or Degree in Technical field with experience or oversea study is advantage
