The Role 

 

In this role you will lead the Sales and Business Development strategies to achieve market leadership and sustainable business growth for a given market in the Global Indirect Channel. You will work closely with external and internal stakeholders in driving the marketing and business development activities effectively to achieve the sales targets.​

​You will have an opportunity to establish permanent link with customers and market segments to allow constant valuable voice of customer feedback. Gain and capitalize market knowledge to help the distributor in working out their sales tactics. Partner with internal stakeholders in driving marketing / business opportunities. Network in the Industry Events and Trade Shows to assess new channel partners as well as the market competition and technology.

 

 

What you will do: 

 

  • Partner with internal/external Stakeholder in driving actions and execution to exceed commercial and financial targets.​
  • Identify and select new channel partners to deliver growth strategy.​
  • Identify market opportunities and threats, monitor competition activities.​
  • Use various sales tools, including SalesForce.com, in mapping sales efficiency, prospects and revenue progression.​
  • Gain and capitalize market knowledge to help the distributor in working out their sales tactics while partnering with marketing and pre-sales technical service team.​
  • Understand your company's product positioning versus competitors and industry trends, such as sustainable practices to maximize the business results.
  • Building solid and long-lasting relationships with partners.
  • Giving presentations on business plans to potential clients or partner businesses.
  • Generating new business leads through networking and referrals.
  • Negotiating contract terms for new business deals.
  • Developing strategic plans to enter new markets or boost sales.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities collecting and analysing data about the business development activities.
  • Monitor the progress of business initiatives and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Upskill Knowledge partners.

 

  

What you need to have: 

 

  • Strong leadership and initiative level.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in international industrial companies and with global business exposure.
  • Customer and partner oriented.
  • Track record to orchestrate and motivate remote sales & service teams.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong management, sales and negotiation skills.
  • Result-driven, with excellent knowledge of international business processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
