The role #LI-DNI

In this role you will be responsible for the definition and successful execution of the flexible film coding & marking market segment plans globally. You will play a pivotal role in defining the positioning of Markem-Imaje’s product portfolio with regards to customer requirements –and ensure we have a compelling and competitive market approach for the flexible film segment.


What you’ll do

  • Act as the key interface between product divisions and the local sales organizations for product launches and product strategy definition.
  • Develop key market insights by understanding customer needs and market trends. Monitoring and assessing competition. Delivering competitive response to the MI salesforce in a timely manner.
  • Project manage new product launches planned by the divisions & act as the key interface between all stakeholders: product divisions, marketing & communications, pricing, Current Business Managers and sales teams.
  • Drive the customer segmentation process to define the best positioning for MI to create a win-win offering for customers.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to gain buy-in and drive the MI strategy.
  • International travel required as part of the role.


What you need to have

  • Flexible film market. Thermal transfer and inkjet solutions knowledge desirable.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing or related discipline.
  • 8+ years’ experience in product marketing or category management.
  • Experience with one or more technologies found in the MI portfolio (thermal transfer, continuous inkjet, DoD, print & apply, laser).
  • Experience in B2B industrial space -food, drinks, cosmetics, cabling or relevant markets where these technologies are applied.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead and work within global cross functional teams or projects.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with an excellent business acumen.
