The Role: 


The Training Content Manager position is a vital function to lead the development of learning content and solutions appropriate for different audiences, including Sales, Technical, Partners, and Customers.

This is a functional position in a matrix business operation environment. This person is to determine and execute the content design and development strategy for MI, manage available resources efficiently through best practices and lean processes, coordinate between various functions (global, zone, and local), and control their portion of the training budget. This position will also supplement the Training Delivery function to ensure the delivery of quality content and training.


What you will do: 

  • Work with stakeholders to determine content development needs and solutions.
  • Provide leadership related to instructional design, training pedagogy, and assessment to the Content team.
  • Develop, write, and coordinate learning sources and materials working with subject matter experts for specific details.
  • Lead and coordinate a team of trainers / developers to ensure the development of consistent training packages for the business.
  • Function as a Project or Program Manager as needed to see learning efforts to implementation.
  • Become a curator of learning sources to support broad employee and talent pools.
  • Partner with facilitators ensure implementation of programs.
  • Ability to manage and provide reporting across the training organization.
  • Understanding of technology solutions and operations from a learning perspective.
  • Ensure strong communication with global/ zone and local functions to maximize strength of the zone and country’s operations and provide timely updates to provide value added service to meet the market evolving demands.
  • Manage and coordinate with global and zone leaders to ensure training materials are up to date and local language requirements are available.


What you need to have: 

  • 5 to 10 years of experience within an international and matrix environment.
  • 10 years + in business management roles and/or training management responsibilities with large regional or global scope.
  • Experience in e-learning, ILT, and vILT courses and management of associated training activities.
  • Experience partnering with cross functional teams to drive continuous improvements on competency improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge in the principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
  • Proven record as a certified and qualified trainer.
  • Knowledge in business and management principles and strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique and coordination.
  • Good command of English language, and other language/s will be advantage.
  • Able to prepare and do presentations, and able to communication fluently.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent logical thinking process to analyze empirical data and findings.
  • Possess the ability to troubleshoot and leverage on materials and internal resources to resolve situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Work effectively with individuals, groups, and other organizational units to carry out the goals of a training function.
